Difference Between Power train and Drive train (Nicely Explain)

Power train:-
Power train is the mechanism that transmits the engine power to the drive wheels. The main components that made a shape of train the things consist of engine, transmission, propeller shaft and the differential.  Currently in hybrid system of power train includes the battery, electric motor and control algorithm.  In hybrid Power train the torque generated by the combustion engine and the electric motor have to be brought together and distributed to the wheels and we mostly use transaxle to transmit the power to the drive wheel. The control of this process can be quite involved but the reward are greatly improved acceleration values as well as much better emission.

Drive train:-
The drive train and power of the motor vehicle has quite similar groups of components but expect engine or motor. The drive train of the motor vehicle of components that deliver power to the drive wheels.
The Components of the drive train, according to the type of vehicle,
Some typical examples are,

Manual Transmission Car
  •          Clutch
  •          Gear Box
  •          Over drive
  •          Propeller Shaft
  •          Rear axle
  •          Final drive
  •          Differential

Automatic Transmission Car
  •          Torque Converter
  •          Transmission
  •          Propeller shaft
  •          Rear axle
  •          Final drive
  •          Differential

Front-wheel drive
  •          Clutch
  •          Transaxle
  •          Gearbox
  •          Final drive
  •          Differential
  •          Drive shaft and Constant-velocity joints to each wheel.

Four wheel drive off-road vehicle
  •          Clutch
  •          Gearbox
  •          Transfer box
  •          Transmission brake
  •          Propeller Shafts, to front and rear
  •          Front and rear axle
  •          Final drive
  •          Locking Differential
  •          Portal gear
